Borden

Egg Nog dates back to over 150 years ago, when preserving milk products was no easy feat. The richer families would enjoy home made egg nog made fresh that day with eggs, milk and a heavy dose of brandy! In 1851 Gail Borden was determined to find a way to preserve milk without refrigeration long enough to sell in shops. After experimenting for years he finally discovered a way to condense milk and prevent spoilage! Today Egg Nog has a shelf life of 15 months.
